Half spoon red chilli powder
Half spoon turmeric powder
Curry leaves
Salt as required
2 spoon grated coconut (optional)

Transfer the peas into a wide mixing bowl.

To the mixing bowl add powdered dry beaten rice, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, corn flour, curry leaves, hing, and salt and mix well. Avoid adding water.

Mix it tightly and prepare tiny balls. Press with fingers and make it flat like discs. If the discs do not stay intact add little water, say about 2 spoons, and mix well again. This is a trial and error step to bring the right consistency.

Optionally you may also add little grated coconut, finely chopped onion and garlic pieces for softness.

Heat oil over low flame. Once the oil is ready for deep frying, drop the discs and fry until they turn golden brown and crisp.

While this person was once one of my best friends and I have always bee
